Description

Near the village of Vicchio, 35 km north of Florence, in the very attractive unspoiled landscape of the Mugello, also known as ‘The Switzerland of Tuscany’. The villa is situated on a hill in a dominant position that allows magnificent views over the Tuscan countryside.<br> The villa was originally a medieval structure transformed in the 18th century. The owners have restored and furnished the villa in style, respecting the history and the authentic elements of this former summer residence of the family. Many trips in direct vicinity and daytrips to Siena (80 km), Rome (3hours driving, or by train from Vicchio).

Ground Floor: independent entrance, entrance hall, large kitchen, formal dining room, living room with TV, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with shower, one with tub and shower. Upper Floor: drawing room with TV, four double bedrooms, four ensuite bathrooms (1 with tub, 3 with shower).

Payment

After phoning your reservation you will receive a booking form. This form should be returned a.s.a.p. completed . Please deposit both the booking fee of € 25,- and the weekly commission of € 200,- (account numbers can be found on the booking form). We will then send you a voucher stating the amount due to the owner and the method of payment. A security deposit of € 1000,- must be paid, in cash upon arrival. (the owners do not accept checks). The deposit will be refunded at the end of the holiday less any deduction made for damage caused to the property or for any additional costs that were not included in the rental price.

Cleaning the property

You are required to leave the apartment as you found it, and to report any damages or breakage.

Arrival and departure

Please be so kind as to arrive on the Saturday afternoon between 15:00 and 17:00 hrs. Departure not later than between 8:00 and 10:00 on Saturday morning.

Telephone, access to Internet, 2 TVs, CD player, Fax available on request. Extra guest: € 100,- a week. Cleaning and/or cooking help are available at an additional fee. Pets are allowed on the premises. Parking place, pool 5m x 12 m. Kitchen, with fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Central heating charged according to use. Cooking classes, Tuscan meals and wine tasting tours can be organized on request. Shopping and railway station: Vicchio at 2,5 km, Borgo san Lorenzo at 25 km. Various restaurants in direct vicinity.
