Galenda is a small hamlet of 12 houses in total, all beautifully renovated. Apartment Lippi in Il Borgo di Galenda has its own entrance and private balcony. The location of the apartment is fantastic and the hamlet offers a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and olive groves.

Description

In the middle of the Chianti, Borgo Galenda is a small hamlet (with chapel) which has been completely restored. Galenda’s cottages are located on a mountain ridge with a beautiful view over rolling hills covered with olives and vines. The apartments are privately owned by different owners, all with their own garden/terrace, charming terracotta floors and ceilings, they are beautifully situated in a shady wooded corner. The swimming pool, private to the estate, offers the chance to take a refreshing dip during the day with a magnificent backdrop of the Chianti hills, while the night sky is no less spectacular.

The apartment was a long time offered on the website of Urlaubarchitektur, because of it’s beautiful stylish restoration.

From the estate you can explore the entire Chianti region such as Radda and Lecchi in Chianti or Panzano where the famous butcher Cecchini is located.

Visits to San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Siena and Florence are high on the list. Renting bikes and going on walks are easy from Borgo Galenda.

But above all, sit back with a glass of Chianti wine, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and rest.

Shared swimming pool:

The swimming pool is used by the owners and guests of Il Borgo di Galenda (only 4 are rented). It is surrounded by vineyards on one side and offers fantastic panoramic views on the other.

The fenced swimming pool (14.5 x 6 m and 1.35 m deep) is adjacent to a lawn with sun loungers and parasols and is located approximately 75 metres from the apartment. Opening times are subject to weather conditions: May to September/October. In a corner of the garden, in the shade of the olive trees, there is a lovely lounge area with built-in benches and cushions where you can also have a lovely lunch/dinner. There is also a barbecue and ample parking.

There is also a round baby pool with a diameter of 3 metres and a depth of 0.5 metres

Payment

After booking you will receive a booking form by email. Please return this form as soon as possible. We will send you a confirmation of receipt stating how you should pay the owners.

Cleaning

You are expected to leave the house in a reasonable condition and to report any damage or breakage. The final cleaning + bed-linen en towels is € 100.

Arrival and departure

Please arrive on Saturday afternoon between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Departure no later than Saturday morning at 9:30 AM.
