Description

In the middle of the Chianti hills and next to Europe’s largest cypress wood, between Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti, lies this splendid originally 13 th century cluster of houses, formerly used to store grain. The properties belong to various owners, both Italian and English. Superb views, lots of privacy and very well maintained grounds with olive trees and chapel. One hardly notices the other tenants. At a fair distance you will find the splendid swimming pool (12 x 6 m) as well as the tennis court. The property is comfortably furnished and has a good kitchen with microwave. It’s a good starting point for visits to Florence and Siena.

Payment

After phoning or mailing your reservation you will receive a booking form. This form should be returned a.s.a.p. completed. Please deposit both the booking fee of € 25,- and the weekly commission of € 70,- or € 80,- (account numbers can be found on the booking form). We will then send you a voucher stating the amount due to the owner and the method of payment.

Cleaning the property

You are required to leave the apartment as you found it, and to report any damages or breakage.

Arrival and departure

Please be so kind as to arrive on the Saturday afternoon between 16:00 and 19:00 hrs. Departure not later than 9:30 on Saturday morning.

Details

Wifi available for free Sattelite TV in both apartments Bed linen and towels not included in the rent. They can be hired at € 13,50 per person. Washing machine. A hairdryer and mosquito screens in the bedroom windows. Central heating charged according to use. Shopping and restaurants in Poggibonsi (9 km) and Castellina in Chianti (10 km).
