Beautiful winding road uphill from Siena (Porta San Marco) leads to a magnificent area. A large house, not far from the asphalt road but quiet nonetheless, only inhabited on a permanent basis by the caretaker and his wife. Sometimes the adjoining house is used for the weekend. On the ground floor is a luxurious apartment, which the owner, a historian from Siena, had originally intended for her own, private use. Directly in front, a large terrace, garden with covered section. Splendid views. Ideal location for those who enjoy a combination of peace and a magnificent landscape, not too far from a city. Moreover you can treat yourself to many possible outings to a.o. monasteries (Eremo di Lecceto, S. Leonardo del Lago) and roman churches. Swimming pool and golf course at a 15 minutes’ drive.

Ground floor: access via French windows to spacious lounge, beautifully furnished, kitchen (microwave and oven)-diner also fitted with French windows, bedroom with double bed, studio with single bed and single bed settee, 2 small bathrooms with shower (no bidet) and lavatory. Above this apartment there is a second apartment, completely independent, which has been let on a permanent basis.

Payment

After phoning or mailing your reservation you will receive a booking form. This form should be returned a.s.a.p. completed . Please deposit both the booking fee of € 25,- and the weekly commission of € 70,- (account numbers can be found on the booking form). We will then send you a voucher stating the amount due to the owner.

Cleaning the property

You are required to leave the apartment as you found it, and to report any damages or breakage.

Arrival and departure

Please be so kind as to arrive on the Saturday afternoon between 16:00 and 19:00 hrs. Departure not later than 9:30 on Saturday morning.

Beautiful garden, the owner is a member of the Siena Garden association. Central heating charged according to use. Washing machine at your request: € 5,-. WiFi and laptop available. Cleaning charge: € 40,-. At 8 minutes distance there is a public swimming pool. Shopping in Siena at 5 km, simple but good restaurant and pizzeria in walking distance. Bus stop in walking distance.
