Description

Very charming location, on the border of Castel del Piano and only 8 km south of Perugia. Other famous Umbrian towns within easy reach. The small convent was purchased together with Villa Aureli in the 19th century by family of present owner and has been recently restored by the very friendly Flavia and her husband Maurizio. It is surrounded by trees and is very quiet for a place so near to a small town and the road to Perugia. The completely independent rooms have been furnished with antique furniture and beautiful colours. Good walking (ancient wood nearby) and cycling. Assisi, Todi and even Orvieto within easy reach.

Layout Da Flavia

Entry via an external staircase to first floor. Studio with sofa-bed (190 x 70 m), writing-table; double bedroom with king-size bed, woodstove; large bathroom with tub and shower. All rooms have windows with a view of the garden, or an old tree. Lots of possibilities to read, eat, relax in garden, with trees and privacy.

Payment

After phoning or mailing your reservation you will receive a booking form. This form should be returned a.s.a.p. completed . Please deposit both the booking fee of € 25,- and the weekly commission of € 45,- or € 25,- (account numbers can be found on the booking form). We will then send you a voucher stating the amount due to the owner and the method of payment.

Cleaning the property

You are required to leave the apartment as you found it, and to report any damages or breakage.

Arrival and departure

Please be so kind as to arrive on the Saturday afternoon between 16:00 and 19:00 hrs. Departure not later than 9:30 on Saturday morning.

Details

Water cooker and small fridge in studio. Breakfast, including home made cakes and marmalades included in price and served in garden or studio. Dinners can be served on request. Guided tour to Perugia on request. Shopping: Castel del Piano at walking distance. Cheap but good ‘trattoria’/ pizzeria in Castel del Piano. Perugia at 8 km.
